Yes, you guessed it - it's a non-gory version of the same game.

"In Kawaii Killer Plushy Edition, the animals have been replaced by evil plushies, and you have to destroy all of them to save the Kawaii Forest," Tabemasu wrote on its blog.

So, instead of slicing, beating, and maiming cartoon animals, you do the same thing to cartoon plushy animals.
Crap! I'm Broke is a game about scrubbing dishes and flipping burgers in a vain attempt to make ends meet, pay your bills, and not starve to death.

Maybe they should have called it Games Journalist Simulator.

It was also the third place winner at our most recent Big Indie Pitch event, which we held at Apps World in London. A big deal, considering the high quality of all the games on show.

So why did we pick this one? Maybe it was the dazzling cubist art, or the fun mini-games that have you rubbing food off dirty dishes. Or the strategic backbone where you must spend your cash wisely.

Do you buy food, to satisfy your hunger? Or pay your bills, to avoid getting kicked out. Do you buy helpful items, only to see them repossessed when you go broke. Do you buy yourself a nice holiday, or just keep saving?

You'll find out when the game launches in early 2016 on iOS and Android.
